Our Team / Nuestro Equipo
At Bilingual Bridge RI, our team is experienced in speech and language development, in both English and Spanish, as well as Stuttering and Childhood Apraxia of Speech (CAS). The Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) maintain their RI licenses, ASHA certifications and are constantly learning through various continuing education opportunities.
Nuestro equipo tiene experiencia en el desarrollo del habla y lenguaje, tanto en inglés como en español, al igual que en la tartamudez y apraxia del habla infantil (AHI). Las fonoaudiólogas mantienen su licencia de RI, certificación con ASHA (Asociación Americana del Habla, Lenguaje y Audición) y constantemente están aprendiendo a través de varias oportunidades de desarrollo profesional.
Carolina
Bilingual Speech-Language Pathologist / Fonoaudióloga
Carolina has been an SLP for 12 years. She received her Master's in Speech-Language Pathology from Worcester State University. She is licensed in RI, MA and CA. She primarily works with the pediatric population addressing speech and language skills and Childhood Apraxia of Speech (CAS). She also works with children and adults who stutter. Bilingual language development, stuttering, and CAS are her passion areas. Carolina has taken intensive coursework in CAS and Stuttering. She received an ASHA A.C.E. award for continuing education in 2020 and again in 2023.
She is currently pursuing the application process for Fluency Board Certification.

When Carolina is not working, she enjoys spending quality time with her little family and her two dogs,
reading, homeschooling and exploring nature.

Carolina es fonoaudióloga hace 12 años. Ella recibió su Master's en Patologia del Habla de la Universidad Estatal de Worcester. Ella está licenciada en RI, MA y CA. Trabaja principalmente con niños enfocándose en las habilidades del habla y lenguaje y apraxia del habla infantil. También trabaja con niños y adultos que tartamudean. El desarrollo del lenguaje en la población bilingüe, la tartamudez y apraxia del habla infantil (AHI) son sus áreas de pasión. Carolina ha tomado cursos intensivos en AHI y tartamudez. Carolina recibió un reconocimiento de ASHA en el 2020 y el 2023 por tomar cursos de educación continua. Actualmente está preparándose para el proceso de certificación como especialista en tartamudez, título que otorga la junta directiva de especialización en tartamudez.
Cuando Carolina no esta trabajando, disfruta pasar tiempo de calidad con su pequeña familia y sus dos perritos,
le encanta leer, educar en casa y explorar la naturaleza.

Lissette
Bilingual Speech-Language Pathologist / Fonoaudióloga
Lissette has been an SLP for 5 years. She primarily works with the pediatric population addressing speech and language skills. Bilingual language development and early childhood development are her passion areas. She currently serves on the Executive Board of RISHA (RI Speech & Hearing Association).

Lissette es fonoaudióloga hace 5 años. Trabaja principalmente con niños enfocándose en las habilidades del habla y lenguaje. El desarrollo del lenguaje en la población bilingüe y el desarrollo en temprana edad son sus áreas de pasión. Ella es parte del comité ejecutiva de RISHA (Asociación del Habla y Lenguaje de RI).
